Welcome to our new page!
International Day of Women and Girls in Science is on 11 February 2018 and International Women’s Day is 8 March 2018.
To honour this day and women in general we have set up this page to spotlight the excellent Women who study/studied and work/worked in the LoLo CDT Centre.
Our aim is to show that women here, do all sorts of projects in different disciplines, some of them balance this with family and other commitments and who graduate and go into influential jobs.
We asked our contributors to talk to us about their thoughts experiences touching topics: interests in science/Engineering, experience in LoLo, life balances, career prospects/projects, advice for the future, advice for potential applicants.
Between the 11th February and 8th March 2018 we will be periodically posting blogposts or podcasts written made by the Women in LoLo.
Follow us on Twitter @LoLoCDT to be the first to know about a new article from one of the excellent Woman in LoLo.
