UCL-Energy students host SPONGE workshop
25th November 2011 Alison Parker

On 24 November 2011 UCL Energy Institute and LoLo Centre students Carrie Behar , Faye Wade and Ian Hamilton (UCL-Energy) hosted a SPONGE evening workshop entitled ‘Energy efficiency and occupant behaviour: Research Findings & Implications’.

The workshop, which was fully booked, provided an opportunity to hear, discuss and reflect on findings from the work of the three UCL-Energy SPONGE members that provided insight into building user behaviour, and illustrated the potential value to building professionals of understanding behavioural characteristics and variation. SPONGE brings together a network of young property and construction professionals who share an interest in sustainable development.

Faye and Carrie have both subsequently been mentioned in Freelance writer and editor Melanie Thompson’s sustainability blog.
