Biography

I finished my PhD in 2015, which was all about developing easy and low cost ways the measure the thermal characteristics of houses. Lolo was a fantastic place to study, providing great research facilities and people to work with.

The PhD gave me a great background in how buildings work which I now apply in my role with Fortem. Fortem repair and maintain domestic, and my role is to provide technical expertise for energy improvement retrofit measures. The role includes supporting bids for work, design of retrofit schemes, energy modelling  and performance measurement.
