Nidhi is a qualified architect with strong passion for sustainable design and construction. She practised architecture for 4 years in India and worked on a variety of projects before moving to UK to pursue Master’s Degree in Architecture (Sustainable Design) at The University of Sheffield. After working for 3 years in Manchester as Sustainability Consultant, she later joined the UK subsidiary of Bouygues Construction in 2013, a large international construction company. She currently works as Head of Sustainability and manages a team of in-house experts at Bouygues UK’s Sustainability Hub. Her work involves promoting sustainability, internally and externally, in business practices and projects. She is licensed WELL & BREEAM Accredited Professional & BREEAM Assessor and delivers in-house assessments. She is Professional Supervisor for the PhD research programme on Soft Landings and Performance Gap, partially sponsored by Bouygues with the UCL – London-Loughborough (LoLo) EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Energy Demand and is the lead on RAPIERe tool development.
