Biography

I am currently a Research Fellow at De Montfort University working on a Horizon 2020 project called eTEACHER, which is investigating the use of ICT technology to facilitate behaviour change in a range of buildings and user types, in order to achieve energy savings. Previous to this I worked as a Research Associate at Loughborough University on the DEFACTO (Digital Energy Feedback And Control Technology Optimisation) following on from my PhD research.

I successfully passed my PhD in January 2017, with my thesis entitled “Heating use in UK homes”, part of which was carried out in collaboration with the DEFACTO pilot study.  Prior to completing the PhD I also completed a MRes degree in Building Energy Studies (Loughborough University, 2012), a MSc degree in Energy (Heriot Watt University, 2011) and a MChem undergraduate degree in Chemistry with Industrial Experience (Heriot Watt University, 2010).
