LoLo celebrates the recent publication of news article for Anna Gorbatcheva and Nicole Watson in the IEEE Smart Cities Library

Their article, which was co-authored by Professor David Shipworth and Dr Alexandra Schneiders of UCL Energy Institute, is titled ‘Global Perspectives on Peer-to-Peer, Community Self-Consumption & Transactive Energy Models’ and looks at the need to empower energy citizens to contribute to the energy transition in light of the growing global concern around climate change. The authors argue that by enabling active participation of energy end-users in future market decisions, we can better respond to the challenges that the energy systems face globally.
